A guy at the Tulsa library writing group said my prompts were too safe, and I've been rewriting them ever since
I brought 12 prompts to the Tuesday night group and he read all of them in about 90 seconds, then said every single one was a question with a safe answer baked in, so now I write prompts that force my characters to do something they'd never admit they want.
