Thought my bell peppers were done for after the frost, but a $3 dollar store blanket saved 6 of them

I was ready to rip them out last month after that cold snap hit, but draping an old blanket over the stakes at night kept the soil warm enough that they bounced back and I picked 6 this week. Anyone else tried cheap covers instead of buying a real frost cloth?
