Wrote off load charts on the tablet for 2 years until my chart book got soaked in Portland
I always said paper charts were faster and never wanted to mess with a screen in the cab. Then last month in Portland I left my chart book on the deck overnight and it rained, and by morning the radius pages for 60 to 90 feet were one solid brick. I borrowed a kid's tablet for the day and had the load line up in maybe 15 seconds flat instead of flipping pages with wet gloves. My gut still says paper never runs out of battery, but I can see why the new guys swear by the screen. Any of you run both and have a real reason to keep one over the other?
