He said they used to rely on feel and experience for everything. Now, with all the sensors and computers, it's a whole different world. Really puts things in perspective.

Seriously, relying only on feel with no computers sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Exactly, I've seen sensors give false readings during heavy rain. Once, my combine's monitor said everything was fine, but the engine sounded off. I shut it down based on that noise and found a loose belt. Saved me a bigger repair later.

Yeah, you still need that feel even with all the gadgets. Sensors can fail or give you a weird reading, and that's when the old experience kicks in. The tech's great, but it doesn't replace knowing your machine.
