Boom sensor false alarm nearly cost me a 2 hour drive to Fort Worth

Last Tuesday my Grove's anti two block sensor started screaming while I was setting steel on a 4th floor deck. Load was maybe 12 feet up, totally clear, but the warning light went red and the swing locked up. I spent 45 minutes checking the cable and limit switch before I realized the sensor bracket had shifted from a hard bump the week before. A lot of guys say never trust your gut over the sensor, but I say trust the sensor less than your own eyes. Has anyone else had a bracket or calibration drift cause a phantom shutdown?
