My Tuesday 11am color client fell asleep and I colored half her head twice
Last Tuesday I had a lady come in for a root touch up at 11am and she dozed off in the chair about 10 minutes in. I stepped away to mix more color because I miscalculated and only made 2 ounces for her whole head. When I came back I panicked and started applying to the side I already did because I forgot where I left off. She woke up 15 minutes later and asked why her scalp felt cold on one side only. I had to rinse her out early and redo the whole thing, which put me 40 minutes behind for the rest of the day. The final result actually looked fine but I charged her $85 instead of $110 because I felt weird about it. Does anyone else lose track of sections when a client knocks out on them?

I always dab a little dot of color at the part line when I finish a section so I know where I stopped if they nod off. Cheap trick but it saved me more than once.
