I finally caught a flat earth claim that fell apart in 10 minutes of digging
Last week my cousin sent me a video claiming the moon landing was filmed in a studio because the flag "waves" in the footage. I almost ignored it since I have heard that one a hundred times, but I sat down and found the original NASA clip plus a 2012 interview with the flag designer. He explained they used a horizontal rod to hold the flag out because there is no wind up there, and the "waving" is just the pole wiggling when the astronauts twisted it in. It took me 3 sources and about 10 minutes to lay it all out, and he stopped replying after I sent the links. Has anyone else had luck with flag claims when you actually pull the raw footage?
