Caught a weird bit about moon landing footage on a late night radio show

I was driving home from a friend's place around 2 AM last Thursday and caught this talk radio host in Phoenix going on about the Apollo 11 tapes. He claimed the original broadcast had a shadow moving the wrong way, but the footage online now looks different. It got me digging into old news archives, and I found some scans of 1969 newspapers that do describe the broadcast a bit oddly. Has anyone else looked into this specific shadow thing, or is it just recycled nonsense?

Yeah my buddy got super into this last year. He spent a whole weekend mixing up the Apollo 11 and 13 details while we were camping. Kept talking about the "successful failure" but was describing the moon landing. We had to pull up Wikipedia on a phone with one bar of service to sort it out. He still gets teased about it.
