Just dropped $75 on a signed copy of Sandman #1 and I'm worried it's fake

I bought this copy off eBay from some seller in Ohio last week and the signature looks a little too clean compared to the other examples I've seen online. The seller had good ratings but idk, the ink doesn't have that slight smudge you'd expect from Neil Gaiman's pen. Has anyone here dealt with fake signatures in the comic market and what did you do about it?

Is the second opinion even from someone who actually looked at the original work, or are you just taking the word of somebody who hasn't seen it in person? Like, I've had mechanics tell me my car is fine without even popping the hood, and then a different guy finds the real issue in five minutes. Did they at least explain what they think is wrong, or are they just guessing based on something you told them over the phone?
