My old globe habit made me miss a fake map for a week
I used to only check flat maps and atlas pages when I got something new from estate sales. Last month I bought a 1962 school globe and almost tossed it because the continents looked normal. Then I spun it upside down and noticed the equator line was drawn through Norway, not Africa. The whole thing was a prop from a local TV studio in Cleveland, someone hand painted all the countries wrong. Anyone else got a piece that only works if you look at it the wrong way?
