I used to stir my cold brew concentrate like it was a milkshake, now I let it sit 30 seconds
For about two years I made cold brew the same way. Add water to the concentrate, stir hard for 10 seconds, pour over ice, drink. Then last month I was in a rush at my shop in Boise and left the glass on the counter after stirring. I got busy with a matted doodle and came back maybe 45 seconds later. Took a sip and it tasted way smoother, less bitter at the end. Turns out the fines need time to sink out. Now I always stir, wait about half a minute, and pour slow. Anyone else do that or do you just stir and go?
