Took me 45 minutes to figure out my grinder wasn't plugged in
I was getting frustrated because my beans weren't grinding and I kept checking the hopper and the settings. Finally looked down and saw the cord hanging off the counter, totally unplugged the whole time. Anyone else ever waste time on something that dumb?

I saw a YouTube video the other day where a guy spent an hour trying to fix his espresso machine before he realized he never turned the water valve back on after cleaning it. Made me feel a little better about my own unplugged grinder incident because at least I didn't have to take anything apart. It's funny how we always assume the complicated thing is broken first before we check the simple stuff. My wife laughs at me all the time for doing stuff like that with the computer at home.

It's kind of wild how our brains skip the obvious, isn't it? Like, what's the most expensive or annoying fix you've chased down for a full hour before realizing it was the simplest thing? I once spent a whole Sunday morning convinced my car was making a weird noise from the engine, only to find a rock stuck in the tire tread. Makes you wonder if we're just wired to think everything's a big problem right away.
