My pour-over stand collapsed mid-brew and sent 30 bucks of beans flying

Was doing my morning routine with the fancy glass carafe when the wooden stand just gave out at the hinge, dumping hot water and grounds all over my kitchen counter in Tulsa, so now I'm hand-holding the dripper like a caveman until I find a replacement, has anyone else had one of these fail right at the joint?
