Had a coolant line blow out on the old Haas VF-2 last Friday

It was the main feed line to the spindle, so it dumped about two gallons all over the floor right in the middle of a run. I shut it down, cleaned up the mess, and found a split in the reinforced hose near the pump fitting. Anyone know a good source for replacement coolant hose that doesn't kink easily?

McMaster-Carr has some good reinforced vinyl hose that holds up. Get the stuff with the polyester braid, it resists kinking way better than the cheap stuff. Just make sure you match the inside diameter of your old line.

Two gallons? My last coolant leak was more of a sad trickle, felt like the machine was crying. Martinez.jesse has the right idea with that braided hose, it's saved me from a few messes.

Check McMaster, but @the_keith is right, that braid stops the sad leaks lol.
