Sharing rides with my neighbors is saving money and cutting emissions

A few months back, some folks on my block decided to carpool to work. We set up a basic schedule using a shared online sheet. I mean, it was just a trial at the start, but now we have regular groups. Idk, maybe it's just me but the morning drive feels less stressful with company. We're using way less gas and putting fewer cars on the road. Has anyone else set up something similar? What challenges did you face?

How do you keep a carpool schedule from falling apart? My friend Lisa set one up with her neighbors. They used a shared calendar at first, but people kept missing it. So they switched to a daily group text the night before. @barnes.brian, I see your point, but they made it work for months. Was it just the daily texts that fixed it?

Cool you saved some gas money. But it's like five people on one block, not exactly fixing climate change.

Wait, you guys actually stuck to a schedule? Mine would fall apart in a week.
