After a chat with a farmer, I see plant-based diets differently

I used to think my diet didn't affect climate change much. Learning about methane from cattle changed my mind. Now I try meatless Mondays!

My coworker started skipping beef after he saw a documentary on cattle methane. He began with one meatless day and now prefers veggie meals most of the time. Has your farmer chat led you to try other food swaps?

Read an article about simple plant based swaps making a real difference. They mentioned stuff like lentils in pasta sauce instead of ground beef. Might try that next week actually.

From those farmer chats, it's not just about methane from cows. Good farming can really change that impact. So my main swap is choosing local grass fed beef instead of cutting it out completely. It costs more but supports better practices. I guess for me, knowing where food comes from matters most. That feels like a better step than just going meatless.
