Hot take: creosote glaze is not a sweep problem, it is a wood problem, and I wasted 3 weeks brushing the wrong thing
Spent 3 whole weeks and around $400 on different brushes and a rotary whip at a place in Boise before an old timer told me the glaze was coming from the homeowner burning wet pine, so has anyone else stopped chasing the chimney and started asking what is going in the stove?

Wet pine is part of it, but air flow plays a big role too.
