Pro tip: Switched from metal tongs to silicone-tipped ones for sauteing

I always used metal tongs when cooking on the stove, but after scratching up a new nonstick pan last month, I grabbed a pair of silicone-tipped tongs from a restaurant supply store. They grip better on slippery vegetables like mushrooms and don't make that awful scraping sound. Has anyone else found a tool swap that made a big difference in your everyday cooking?

Used to be team metal all the way but you're right, these are way better.
