Backyard herbs inspired a twist on my dessert plating
I started growing edible flowers in my small garden. Noticed a trend of chefs using more local, fresh garnishes. It made me try adding them to my dessert courses. The flavors pop and the plates look amazing. Really glad I gave it a shot.

My rosemary bush went crazy this year so I've been putting little sprigs on lemon tarts. The smell when you serve it is wild, totally changes the whole thing.

Used to think rosemary was just for savory dishes. That lemon tart idea actually changed my mind, sounds amazing.

My basil plant gave me way too much last summer. I started putting a single small leaf on top of peach ice cream. Honestly, the sweet and herby mix was a game changer, made the whole dessert feel fancy.
