Wasted $60 on a 'vintage' cassette lot from an estate sale in Boise
I drove out to an estate sale in Boise last month and paid $60 for a box of about 40 cassettes that looked great from the top layer. Got home and found out the bottom two-thirds were moldy store-bought comps like Kenny G and Barbara Streisand, nothing worth trading at all. Next time I'm pulling every tape out and checking the pads before I hand over any cash. Anyone got a good rule for spotting a junk lot before you buy?
