Best day I've had in 8 months of installing

Last Thursday every damn room was square and the seams matched up perfect on the first try. Customer even offered me a cold beer before I packed up the power stretcher. Has anyone else had a job go so smooth it felt suspicious?

I used to be one of those people who thought a perfect install was just a myth we told new guys to keep them going. Then last month I had a kitchen floor where every plank clicked in without a fight and the cuts around the island were exactly right the first time. I actually stood there staring at it for a solid minute waiting for something to mess up. Did you find yourself double checking every seam because it just felt too easy?

Stand there staring at it yourself - that's the universal sign of 'this is too good to be true.' Ngl I'd be checking every seam with a flashlight for the next week just to make sure my brain wasn't playing tricks on me.
