Appreciation post: My mentor's tip to speak up in meetings really helped
I always kept quiet in team chats thinking my points weren't worth sharing. My mentor told me to just say one thing each time, even if it seems small. Now I jump in more and my manager actually praised my ideas. Kinda nuts how such a simple fix boosted my confidence at work.

Funny how that works... my buddy used to rehearse his one point in the car before meetings.

Totally get that feeling of holding back in meetings. Your mentor gave solid advice because most people are too worried about sounding perfect to speak up at all. I started doing something similar where I prep one small point before meetings so I'm ready to jump in. It's crazy how just getting that first word out makes the rest flow easier.

Ever try writing that one point down first? I find it helps me get past the brain freeze lol
