Appreciation post: That $200 sleeping bag kept me from freezing last weekend

I was up in the White Mountains and the temp dropped way lower than forecast. The bag is rated for 15 degrees and I was toasty, but my buddy with a cheaper one had a miserable night. Anyone have a good fix for a zipper that's starting to catch?

Yeah, that "miserable night" line hits home. I used to think a sleeping bag was a sleeping bag, but a bad night in a cheap one years ago changed my mind for good. For the zipper, try rubbing a plain candle or a bar of soap on the teeth, it can help a lot.
