Just learned that most customer outages come from loose connectors, not bad cable
I was at a training session last Tuesday in Columbus and the instructor pulled up a stat from some industry study saying 70% of service calls are just loose fittings or bad terminations. I've been chasing bad cable for years when it's probably my own work lol. Has anyone else found that tightening up your connection process cuts down repeat visits?

Loose connections cause like half the problems in everything, not just cable (think of your phone charger or garden hose). It's humbling to realize the fix is usually stupid simple.

Yeah, "fix is usually stupid simple" hits home hard. I started torquing all my connectors to spec and labeling everything, went from getting callback after callback to almost zero.
