That time I went with pocket screws over dowels on a big kitchen job
Took on a 38 cabinet build last month in Austin and picked pocket screws for speed, but the tearout on the oak veneer was brutal, had to sand every single joint. Would you guys have just eaten the extra time for dowels instead, or is there a trick to avoid the blowout?

Tearout on oak veneer? Guess that's my cue to stick with dowels and slow and steady, ha.
