My whole monthly spread got ruined by a leaky pen

I was setting up my March pages last night with my favorite black fineliner. I left the notebook open to dry for a bit, but when I came back, my cat had jumped on the desk and knocked over a glass of water right onto the page. The ink ran everywhere, smearing all my dates and task lists. I had to carefully blot it with a paper towel, which just made the paper pill and tear in a couple spots. Has anyone found a good waterproof ink that still writes nice and thin for small boxes?

Oh no, that's the worst feeling. I've had a pen explode in a planner before and it's so frustrating. Have you tried the Uni-ball Signo micro? It's my go-to for waterproof ink that doesn't bleed much, and the line stays pretty fine for small boxes.
