My cat just taught me a basic bullet journal rule I missed for a year

So I've been keeping a bullet journal for about a year now, and I always felt my daily logs were a bit messy. I couldn't figure out why. The other day, I left my journal open on the couch while I went to grab a snack. My cat, Mochi, jumped up and started batting at the page. When I came back, I saw she had knocked my pen right onto a line where I'd written 'call vet' and then, in the same sentence, 'buy groceries'. I just stared at it. It hit me that I was writing my tasks like a run-on sentence instead of making a clear list. I was putting everything in one big block of text for each day. No wonder I kept missing things. I looked back at my old pages and they were all like that. Has anyone else had a pet or a random moment show them a simple fix they totally missed?

Classic cat move... they're weirdly good at pointing out the obvious. My dog once ate the page where I kept overcomplicating my workout schedule. Guess I didn't need it that detailed after all.
