Digital vs. paper collections, which one actually sticks for you?

I've been journaling for about 2 years now, and I keep going back and forth between a physical notebook and a digital app. I started with paper because I loved the feel, but then I tried Notion for 6 months and liked how searchable it was. The problem is, when I went digital, I stopped reviewing my weekly spreads as often. With paper, I flip through and see old pages, which reminds me of things I forgot. But digital is so much faster to log on busy days. I'm curious, how many of you have switched between the two and ended up sticking with one for over a year? What made the difference for you, the habit or the tool itself?

Ditch the screens, paper forces you to actually remember things instead of just storing them.
