How much do you think that upfront cost actually stops people from even trying? It's not just about having the tool, it's about that mental freedom to mess up for months without feeling like you wasted a ton of cash. Getting good at anything digital has a built-in trial and error phase, and pricey software makes every failed project feel way worse. Free programs remove that whole layer of guilt, so you can just focus on learning. It turns a huge blocker into basically just needing time and an old laptop.

Ever think paid software is just guilt wrapped in code?

It makes you overthink every tool instead of just creating.
