My cheap travel pillow popped on the plane to Denver
It happened about an hour into the flight last Tuesday, and the little foam beads went everywhere. I had to use my jacket rolled up for the rest of the trip, which was pretty uncomfortable. I guess paying $8 for it at the airport was a mistake. Has anyone found a budget pillow that actually holds up?

The foam beads going everywhere is the worst, it's like a tiny indoor snow globe disaster. I had a cheap neck pillow deflate slowly over a six hour bus ride once, just kept sinking lower until my chin was on my chest. Felt like one of those nodding toys by the end. Makes you wonder what they even fill those things with, feels like packing peanuts from a sketchy website.

Oh man, @juliaa25, your bus story reminds me of my friend's travel pillow. She got one of those memory foam ones, but it was a total fake. It just stayed flat, like a sad pancake. She spent a whole flight trying to fold it into a shape that would work, but it was like trying to prop her head up on a dish rag. She said the worst part was the weird chemical smell it had, like a new shower curtain from a dollar store. She just ended up using her jacket rolled up instead.
