Serious question, did I sleep on the Bothell Landing farmers market for no reason?
For two years I swore the Saturday market down at Bothell Landing was just a tourist trap and kept driving to the one in Woodinville instead. Then back in April my bike chain snapped on the Sammamish River Trail and a guy named Walt at the honey booth let me use his tools and gave me a rag to wipe my hands. While I fixed it he told me he has been setting up there since 2009 and that half the vendors live within a mile of the park. I started going every Saturday after that and now I know the bread lady by name and the guy who sells the weird purple carrots. Turns out the market is way smaller than Woodinville but I spend less and see like 6 neighbors every time. Did anyone else write this thing off for years before actually walking through it?
