Why does nobody talk about using a little bit of chamomile tea to water seedlings?
Honestly, I tried it on my pepper starts after reading an old forum post, and they grew way bushier than the ones I just gave plain water, which makes me wonder if the weak tea acts like a mild fertilizer or something.

they grew way bushier" is what got me. I always thought it was just gardening nonsense, but my tomato seedlings were getting leggy last year. I gave half of them leftover chamomile tea a couple times, just cold from my mug. The tea ones were noticeably sturdier, like the stems were thicker. I didn't measure anything but you could see the difference side by side. Totally changed my mind on trying little hacks like that.

So did you use the tea as a soil drench or a foliar spray? I'm trying to picture the method, because just pouring it on might not do much if the soil's already wet.

What's your dilution ratio? I tried it as a weak soil drench, maybe one part cold tea to three parts water, when the top inch of soil was dry. Seemed to work better than just dumping it on wet dirt.
