Tbh I always thought the botanical garden in my city was kinda boring until I went on the guided tour yesterday.

Our city's guide just read from a laminated sheet the whole time. Felt like a really long middle school field trip. I actually prefer wandering around on my own.

Oh man, that sounds rough. @clairepark I had a guide like that once. I just ditched the group and found a cool little cafe instead. Way better.
