Seed starter tray disaster after 6 weeks of care
Watered my trays every morning for 6 weeks, then found the drainage holes were plugged with algae slime and everything rotted out. Anyone else had their setup fail from something that simple?

Hold on, before you blame the algae... maybe the real problem is you watered them every single morning. That's a lot of water for a seed tray. Overwatering creates perfect conditions for slime and rot, so the algae might have just been the last straw, not the actual cause. Honestly, I've killed more trays by being too attentive than by leaving them alone for a few days. Maybe the lesson isn't about drainage holes, it's about learning to back off and let them dry out a bit between waterings.
