My first successful air layer after 4 fails in Cincinnati
I used to just hack off a branch and stick it in water, always ended up with mush. Last month I finally did a proper air layer on my Japanese maple with sphagnum and plastic wrap, roots showed in 6 weeks. Anybody else have a method that finally clicked after multiple tries?
