My aunt insists her 'low-light' snake plant needs a sunny window, and it's turning brown.

I told her the tag from the Denver nursery said indirect light only, but she won't listen. How do you convince someone their plant care is backwards?

Is it really that big of a deal if it gets a little brown? I mean, plants get beat up sometimes, it happens. My friend's snake plant sat in a dark corner for a year and it was fine, just grew super slow. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like people stress over plant care way too much. If it's not completely dead, let her do her thing.
