Hot take: native plant swaps need better labeling at the events I go to

I went to a swap last weekend in Portland and grabbed what I thought was milkweed but turned out to be a random invasive. Nobody had tags on anything, and I bet half the people there couldn't tell you what they took home either. Has anyone else run into this at local swaps?

Labeling is the bare minimum for a swap, sounds like that one was more of a grab bag of weeds. Even basic masking tape with names written on it would cut down on people spreading stuff that shouldn't be there. Most folks just want to take home something they can actually use, not a headache that takes over their yard.
