PSA: A library in Portland showed me a better way to handle brittle paper

They had a conservator demonstrate using a fine mist of deionized water from a $30 spray bottle before folding. Anyone know a good source for the water itself?

My local grocery store sells gallon jugs of distilled water for about a dollar. It's in the same aisle as the bottled drinking water. That should work perfectly for your paper project.

Didn't some hardware stores sell distilled water for irons? That might work.

Hardware stores sell it, but my iron still hates me (and my wrinkled shirts).
