Showerthought: I was totally wrong about audiobooks being cheating

I spent years thinking audiobooks weren't real reading. My book club friend Sarah kept pushing for us to include them in our debates. I finally gave in last month after my commute got doubled to 45 minutes each way. Started with "Project Hail Mary" during my drives. By day three I was hooked. The voice acting added so much emotion I missed on the page. Now I get why people defend them in our group discussions. Has anyone else in this community had a big change of heart about a format you dismissed?

Still think narration beats your own inner voice for you?
