Serious question, has anyone else had a book club pick totally fall flat?
We read 'The Midnight Library' last month and I was ready to argue it was shallow, but Sarah pointed out how the structure mirrors choice paralysis. I mean, I still think the ending's weak, but her take on the chapters made me see it differently. Anyone have a book that grew on you after the discussion?

Wait you guys actually liked The Midnight Library? I couldn't get past the whole magical library thing, it felt like a self help book in a fiction costume. But Sarah's point about the chapters is wild, I never saw it that way. Maybe I need to give it another shot with that in mind.

The library framing felt a bit forced, but @finley_lopez98, the core idea about regret clicked for me once I pushed past it.
