Hit 50 books read this year last night and I'm still surprised

My goal was 30 but I passed 50 after finishing that long sci-fi series. I think switching to audiobooks during my commute added 15 extra books alone. Anyone else accidentally smash their reading goal this year?

Keep a book or two queued up at all times so the momentum doesn't just die when you finish something good. Audiobooks during my commute really changed the game for me too, especially for those longer series that drag on a bit. Now I just set a new goal twenty books higher and see if I can beat it again.

Right? Having that next book ready to go is a lifesaver. I started doing audiobooks on my drives too and it's insane how many more books I crush now. I just bumped my goal up to 80 after hitting 60 last year, feels good to keep pushing it.
