Can we talk about our book club picking a book with a confusing ending?

Back in the day, we'd just shrug and move on. Now it sparks a huge fight every time.

My friend felt lost at a show but later saw how, as @margaretwalker said, confusion was the artist's goal.

Totally! Sometimes confusion is just how the artist gets you to feel something. It's like, they want you to be lost for a bit!
