Showerthought: my FLGS owner swore Scythe would click by game 3, and he was so right it hurts
Six months back I told the owner of my local shop here in Sacramento that heavy euros just were not my thing after one rough play of Scythe left me totally lost. He laughed and said give it three full games before you decide anything, so I did, and game three is where the whole engine thing finally clicked for me. Now my group has logged 11 plays and I am the one teaching new people at the Tuesday meetup. What game did you hate at first and end up loving after a few more tries?
