Washi tape border disaster cost me $38 and a whole Saturday
I spent 4 hours last month carefully creating a geometric border with washi tape around my living room, thinking it would look like those Pinterest photos. By Sunday evening it was already peeling at the corners, and by Tuesday half of it had fallen onto the floor. The walls left behind sticky residue that took two rounds of goo gone and a razor blade to clean off. Total loss was $38 in tape and my entire weekend, plus a patch job on the paint underneath. I now stick to removable poster putty and cheap frames, which come off clean in minutes instead of days. Has anyone found a washi tape brand that actually stays put for more than a week, or is this just a scam for renters?
