Used to obsess over center framing, now I hang stuff crooked on purpose

I used to measure EVERYTHING before putting up any wall art, like the kind of person who brings a laser level to hang a tiny poster. My hallway wall looked like a museum display because I spent forty minutes adjusting a single 8x10 frame with a tape measure. Then one day last spring, my kid came home from school with this lopsided rainbow painted on a paper plate, and I stuck it up with washi tape without even checking the corner. Somebody visiting said it looked like the plate was dancing, and honestly THAT comment flipped a switch for me. Now I deliberately tilt cheap frames and overlap my kids' drawings with leftover wrapping paper art, and my empty hallway actually feels alive instead of sterile. My partner still twitches when I eyeball the placement, but the wall finally looks like real humans live here. Anyone else ditch the level in favor of a little chaos, or am I alone in this?}
