My first anvil was a rusted railroad track in my uncle's garage in 2009, and I still miss how simple things were
I was 19 and just happy to make sparks, but now I've got a $900 anvil and a power hammer and somehow spend more time worrying about scale and finish than actually hitting hot metal, so does anyone else here feel like the gear creep slowly stole the fun from the craft?
