Wrote off crime docs for 3 years, then one about a 1987 Ohio case got me hooked
Three years ago I watched a true crime show that dragged every detail out over 9 episodes, and I swore off the whole genre after that. Then a coworker kept bugging me about a show on a streaming service about a 1987 case in Ohio, so I gave in on a rainy Saturday and watched the first one. It was only 4 episodes, no weird reenactments, just old news clips and people talking. I finished it in one sitting and started a second one that night. So what true crime shows actually respect your time instead of stretching 1 case into 10 hours?
