I finally caved and paid for that streaming bundle

I spent about $25 a month to get the bundle with Showtime and Starz, thinking it was a waste. I only wanted it for one show, but then I found 'The Girlfriend Experience' on Starz. Ended up watching the whole first season in two days. The writing is sharp and the main character is so complex. Has anyone else found a hidden gem after paying for a channel they didn't think they'd use?

Honestly same thing happened when I got Paramount+ for one show. Ended up binging that "Why Women Kill" series, it was way better than I expected.

Ugh I have to totally disagree on this one. Signing up for a whole streaming service just for one show is such a waste of money now. It's how they get you, and then you feel like you have to watch more stuff to make the fee worth it. That "Why Women Kill" show was okay, but not good enough to justify another monthly bill. I'd rather just wait and buy the single season somewhere else. These apps are counting on us to get lazy and keep paying.

But how long do you actually wait to buy a single season? I feel like by the time it's available, the hype is gone and I've already seen spoilers online.
