Bent a spoon at a wedding in Tulsa and the groom's grandma asked me to do it again for her friends
Was at my cousin's reception in Tulsa back in March and the hotel gave us these flimsy little dessert spoons that folded like paper. I twisted one into a knot just messing around and the groom's grandma saw it and dragged three of her friends over to watch. Now I get asked to do this at every family thing, so do you bend for the crowd or keep it a solo hobby?
My uncle used to do card tricks at every single family cookout and after a while people stopped watching and just talked over him. Kinda sad honestly. The trick was still cool but the magic wore off cause it was just expected, you know? Weddings are a different deal though cause its a one time crowd, so busting it out for the grandmas friends is probably fine.
The real question is whether you can actually do it on command or if it only works when youre bored and not trying. I cant whistle if someone asks me to but I can whistle fine when I'm not thinking about it, brains are weird like that. If the spoons only bend when youre messing around then you got your answer right there.
