Thought I needed a foil shaver for bald fades, turns out my clipper technique was the real mess
Watched a guy at the shop in Dallas do a skin fade in 12 minutes with just his clippers and no foil, and I realized I'd been leaning on the foil to cover up bad lever work for close to 3 years. Been practicing lever play on a mannequin every night this week and my fades already look cleaner, less irritation too. Any of you guys ditched the foil on your bald work or do you still keep one in the drawer for certain heads?
